Gynecological laser treatment

The production of collagen, which is the main protein in connective tissue, decreases with age and its quality is compromised, which in turn leads to thinning and laxity of the connective tissue and urinary incontinence.

Laser treatment works on a basic principle: heating connective tissue. This heating “stimulates” two important processes:

1. Contraction and strengthening of the tissue.

2. Encouraging tissue healing processes, the creation of new blood vessels and the formation of new connective tissue.

Problems such as vaginal laxity and dryness are the result of decreased blood supply to the area and thinning of collagen tissue, usually due to the woman’s age. The laser “renews” the collagen tissue and improves blood supply to the area, thus contributing to solving the problem, or at least improving the condition.
